At Diablo Valley Montessori School, we take immense pride in our dedicated and experienced staff, many of whom have been with us for 12, 15, and even over 30 years! Their commitment to providing exceptional education and care ensures that every child’s developmental needs are met with the highest level of attention and expertise.

Our head teachers are Montessori-certified and deeply trained in the Montessori philosophy and method. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom, creating a learning environment that is both consistent and uniquely tailored to each child’s growth. We also have several teachers with Master’s degrees in Montessori.

Our assistant teachers share this passion for early childhood education. Each assistant is required to have a minimum of 12 early childhood education units, and many have completed Montessori training as well. This enhances the depth and quality of support in our classrooms, enriching the learning experience for every student.

With many of our staff members having over a decade of service at DVMS, we benefit from strong continuity and a deep-rooted commitment to our students’ success. Our staff also participates in biannual in-service training and regularly attends Montessori conferences and local workshops, ensuring they remain at the forefront of early childhood education.
